Ramsgate boasts many great places to eat from Harbourside Cafes to award winning fine dining restaurants and of course fabulous Fish and Chips. Here are some of our favourites.
Age and Sons
Cocktail bar, cafe with outside seating in the court yard and brilliant restaurant serving seasonal local produce. The place to be.
Pizzas cooked the only way in a wood fired oven. Excellent Italian food in a restaurant overlooking the harbour.
The Harbour Brasserie
Fresh fish and brasserie style food out on the Harbour Wall.
The Belgian Cafe
May look rough around the edges at first glance but we spend far too much time here. Perfect for a glass of wine and plate of Oysters after a day on the beach. Incredibly good value for very good food. Warm and friendly atmosphere where children and dogs are welcome at any time. Always has exhibitions of local art work and regular music venue.
Situated right on the harbour with its wonderful views. Outside seating with heaters and blankets for those chilly days. Good coffee. The wine bar in Ramsgate.
Pete's Fish Factory
Good fish and chips right by the beach to take away or eat in.
The Queen's Head
Traditional British pub on the harbour during the day. Pint after a hard day on the beach? We recommend the sea food stall across the road for some cockles to go with it.
Can't go wrong. And in an enviable position overlooking the yachts. Which one would you buy?
